About
Dr. Şallı-Çopur is working in the Department of Foreign Language Education (FLE) at Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey.
Here, she has been teaching ELT Methodology, Materials Adaptation and Evaluation, Teaching English to Young Learners and Teaching Practice courses as well as advanced language skills courses such as Reading and Writing Skills to prospective teachers of English.
She has earned her PhD degree on the evaluation of the effectiveness of the METU FLE pre-service teacher education program from the perspective of its graduates and employers.
Her areas of interest are pre-service teacher education, teacher training, materials design and adaptation, and evaluation.
